INT. OLD FOLKS HOME – DAY (2035)
An old man sits in his bare room painting a landscape he sees from his window.
A young caregiver, early 20’s, enters the room and looks around.
CAREGIVER
Okay Mr. Young,
I think that’s it.
Are you ready to move
into your new room now?
Double-checking under the bed she sees something…
CAREGIVER
Oh, looks like we almost forgot something.
She pulls out an old guitar case.
CAREGIVER
Hmmm…
Is this what I think it is?
Were you a musician, Mr. Young?
As she flips the locks and opens it up the old man glances over to her, then back to his painting.
The caregiver takes out an outfit draped in plastic. An adult-sized schoolboy uniform…
She then looks down at the guitar it was covering. A devilish-looking Gibson.
CAREGIVER
Nice Gibson, Mr. Young.
Do you play?
He glances over to her again, then goes back to his art.
Running her smooth hands over the classic guitar the pretty young thing notices a tattered name sewn into the inner lining of the case. She looks closer.

BACK TO SCENE
As if just having discovered an ancient treasure girlie slowly rises as she looks back at the guitar, then moves her eyes back to the uniform.
CAREGIVER
(whispering)
No way!
Quickly standing back to her feet she looks at the old man, then rushes over to him.
CAREGIVER
Mr. Young…?!
Mr. Angus Young…?!
OLD ANGUS
(not looking up from his work)
I believe that’s still what
they call me.
Either that or old man.
CAREGIVER
Oh my God!
My grandmother use to play me
your music all the time!
She would tell me stories-
Stopping herself in her tracks, cutie tilts her head to the side a little as another realization comes to her.
Series of Quick Shots:
- Old Angus and four other senior citizens sitting around playing cards.
- Close-up, old Cliff.
- Close-up, old Malcolm.
- Close-up, old Phil.
- Close-up, old Brian, wearing an old Kangol hat.
BACK TO SCENE
CAREGIVER
Oh please, Mr. Young,
you’ve got to play for me.
I grew up listening to the old recordings.
Can you and the others still do it?!
Do you still have the magic?
The old man looks over at his uncovered Gibson.
Series of Shots:
- A thick layer of dust is wiped off another old tattered guitar case. It’s then opened, revealing Cliff’s bass guitar.
- A third, this one Malcolm’s Rhythm Guitar.
- More open cases, side-by-side, Phil’s drum set filling them.
INT. – OLD FOLKS HOME – RECREATIONAL ROOM – DAY
The elderly residents of the home sit around as our young caregiver orchestrates the gathering, fellow caregivers helping out.
CAREGIVER
Alright folks, I think we’re ready to get started.
Upon recently discovering that a few of our very own residents
are actually living legends, it is with my deepest pleasure
that I present to you…
AC/DC!
The excited young one clears to the side as she claps, everyone else in the room not knowing what the big deal is.
An old lady try to see who’s up there in front of them.
OLD LADY
(to the one seated next to her)
Is that Angus? And Brian?
What are they doing up there?
Did we change bingo night?
START MUSIC
Extreme Close-Up, Old Angus’s shriveled fingers strokes a few strings…
Resets. Starts again.
Medium Wide Shot – he manages to find the chords he’s looking for. He doesn’t look like much. Old… Thin… Schoolboy uniform hanging off his frail body.
Close-up, two old hands holding drumsticks gives ‘em a top hat, then adds a beat.
Extreme Close-Up, Malcolm’s guitar joins in, some dust falling from the strings.
Extreme Close-Up, once again Old Angus’s hands.
As they find the melody we cut to a wide shot of the band, the old geezers starting to get their groove back.
Our hottie caregiver can hardly contain herself, holding her hands to her chest and displaying wide open eyes and smile.
The ol’ grandpas still got it… (We cut from one to another)
Old Brian is now fronting them, holding Mic in one hand and himself with the help of a cane in the other. (Of course wearing his old trademark Kangol.)
LYRICS
(singing)
I never smoked with no cigarettes
I never drink much booze
but I’m only a man, don’t you understand
and a man can sometimes lose
you gave me something I never had
pulled me down with you
pulled me up, think I’m in love
Hope you can pull me through
As if a hardcore fan at one of their concerts cutie is unable to control herself and lets out a silent scream.
LYRICS
I overdosed on you
Old Brian…
LYRICS
(singing)
I overdosed on you
Cutie lip synching the lyrics…
LYRICS
Crazy but it’s true
Old Brian by old Angus…
LYRICS
(singing)
Ain’t nothing I can do
I overdosed on you
Old Brian backs out of frame, Old Angus getting more into it as he plays…
Old Brian stands before girlie as he delivers his lines to her. The young soul holds her breath experiencing the moment.
LYRICS
(singing)
Oh woman you give to me
more than I can take
but listen honey, I don’t mind
He caresses the side of her face, then continues with the serenade.
LYRICS
(singing)
You’re a habit I don’t want to break
don’t want me none of that hard stuff
don’t need it anymore
I’m in love, I’m sinking fast
and I don’t need no cure
Old Brian turns to walk back to his bandmates…
LYRICS
(singing)
I overdosed on you
At his back cutie is about to die with excitement, everyone else just sitting there not really impressed.
LYRICS
I overdosed on you
Old Bryan back along his mates…
LYRICS
(singing)
Crazy but it’s true
ain’t nothing I can do
I overdosed on you
DURING INSTRUMENTAL SECTION the band is really into it, Old Angus’s wildness starting to return…
Extreme Close-Up, his fingers working that Gibson. We start to JumpCut on them as his hands go from old to young and back and forth again.
The JumpCutting continues as we show a Medium Wide Shot of Angus, the music flipping him from the rocker he once was to his modern old self…
The others JumpCutting in age as well…
Including old Brian, back in frame, using that cane of his as a prop during his younger version’s performance.
LYRICS
(singing)
Gee I was happy
as a man could be
too far gone to escape
power of love
don’t pull me off
just write on my grave
I overdosed on you
I overdosed on you
crazy but it’s true
a nothing I can do
I overdosed on you
The JumpCutting has stopped, the band back to their old selves as the song slows down. (Coverage on each of them)
LYRICS
(singing)
On you
On you
On you
Wide Shot…
LYRICS
(singing)
All over you…
All over you…
Cutie, so overjoyed…
LYRICS

Phil finishing up as we fall back to an Extreme Wide Shot of the room. (The back of cutie coming into frame, her hands up in the air showing the true fan she is…)
