FADE IN:

Surrounded by nothing but black Jennifer and T-Pain stand back-to-back in the center, each with a mic attached to a mic stand, she lit from above/he lit from below.

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

Go away

Go away

I’ve got this feeling today

A feeling I never felt before

And it came from you

(and it came from me)

So that means you can make it go away

Make it go away…

And I don’t like the way

you’ve been hanging around

with your face on the ground

What’s the deal?

Can you make it go away?

Make it go away

Simultaneously she turns to camera/he turns his back to camera… (At times his face will be turned to the left so we get that side angle view)

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

What’s wrong with my baby?

What’s wrong with me?

What’s wrong with us?

What’s wrong with we?

Again, AND ALWAYS, simultaneous with their movements, T turns back to his original position as Jen turns to sing to his back.

LYRICS

(J singing/T back up)

‘Cause every time we try to talk

and turn this thing around

Tell me what’s the deal

and man we’ll try to work it out

Is it you?

Is it me?

Is it us?

Is it we?

Jennifer goes into a 180, as does T-Pain…

LYRICS

(Jen singing)

We’ve been through so much pain

With him now singing to her back, they continue their tangle of turmoil.

LYRICS

(T singing)

Baby calm down

No way

Believe it

tonight

You got me feeling this way

and I never

ever felt this way before

Didn’t expect that from you

You tryina’ make me go away

And I don’t like

the way

We keep on fussing and fighting

’bout yesterday and last night

That’s old news

We need to be strong

but you’re making me go away

Go away

Jennifer now turns her back to camera, T-Pain facing it. (At times Jen’s face will be turned to the right so we get that side angle view)

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

What’s wrong with my baby?

What’s wrong with me?

What’s wrong with us?

What’s wrong with we?

Next turn takes them both to their original position of being back-to-back.

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

‘Cause every time we try and talk

you turn the thing around

Tell me what the deal is

And we’ll try to work it out

Is it you?

Is it me?

Is it us?

Is it we?

We go through so much pain

Their heads start to turn towards camera…

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

(ad libs)

Followed by their bodies, making it the first time that they are actually side-by-side, both facing camera…

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

Now let’s stop playing these games

If we gonna make it work

let’s just act our age

Girl I’m hearing

everything that you say

but I don’t want to make you go away

Make you go away

I know I act like I don’t care

I’m just tryina’ play it cool

but if we keep acting this way

then that would make us both

some fools

All the hurt

and the lies

and the pain

Need to make that go away

Make it go away

What’s wrong with my baby?

What’s wrong with me?

What’s wrong with us?

What’s wrong with we?

See

Every time we try to talk

And turn this thing around

Tell me what’s the deal

and then we’ll try to work it out

Is it you?

Is it me?

Is it us?

The last line of the song the two finally face one another…

LYRICS

(J and T singing)

Or is it, is it, is it we?
