INT. ANTIQUE TOY STORE – DAY

Wire metal that has been twisted and contorted to form the figures of a band play instruments.

As a display on a shelf among other crude toys the faceless singer approaches his mic and looks out and above as he starts to sing. (Camera following with slow pan/tilt up to…)

LYRICS

Porcelain

Are you wasting away in your skin

Are you missing the love of your kin

Drifting and floating and fading away

A beautiful porcelain doll in dress as she stands on the inside of a glass case looking down to those who play for her. (Dollhouse interior design at her back)

She places her tiny hands against the glass longing to be free.

LYRICS

Porcelain

Do you smell like a girl when you smile

Can you bear not to share with your child

Drifting and floating and fading away

Then slowly turns back to her life-long scene of surface-level happiness. (Some powder from her hands left behind on the glass where they had been resting)

LYRICS

Little lune

All day

Little lune

DISSOLVE TO:

Band playing, the singer is gone.

DISSOLVE TO:

The singer as he climbs up a bunch of plush monkeys which lead him to Porcelain’s glass tomb high above.

LYRICS

Porcelain

Do you carry the moon in your womb

Someone said that you’re fading too soon

Drifting and floating and fading away

DISSOLVE…

LYRICS

Porcelain

Porcelain sits down in a rocking chair and lets her hand fall to her side as if giving up on her existence.

LYRICS

Are you wasting away in your skin

Are you missing the love of your kin

Nodding and melting and fading away

DISSOLVE TO:

The wire stubs which serve as hands of lead singer finds the shelf which holds Porcelain and he pulls himself up onto it.

LYRICS

Little lune

All day

Little lune

DISSOLVE TO:

Lead singer places a stub hand up to the glass where Porcelain’s powdered print shows…

LYRICS

Little lune

And as we’re at the back of his head it turns to the side in an emotional reaction to what he sees…

LYRICS

All day

While camera pushes in through the glass…

LYRICS

Little lune

And comes to Porcelain’s rocking chair, where we don’t find her but instead white powder all about, including on her dress, which is now empty.
