FADE IN:

Inside an old house in new age decor a heartbroken couple consults a psychic.

We push in on the sixth-senser holding a little doll.

Doll with lots of hair, image for Little Friend, song by Nickelback, script by Rico Lamoureux.

Continuing to push in on her face we start to do rapid crosscutting (as GUITAR lays in) between images of a lake and a little girl seated by it caught by the psychic’s third eye and the space between her actual eyes getting closer and closer.

A lake surrounded by trees amongst rays of light.

Girl seated beside lake amongst rays of light.

CUT TO:

As the HEAVY BEAT KICKS IN we find her on the bank of the lake pointing out to it as a gust of wind blows over her and her long hair and dress.

IN FAST-FORWARD camera whips around, races over the surface of the lake and reaches a police diver just as he throws himself in the water back first.

Police diver diving into lake backwards.

Continuing with the fast-forward we follow him down to the bottom where he finds the back of a little girl in white dress, held down by a large log.

The diver turns away shaking his head in disappointment. (No longer fast-forward)

CUT TO:

Starting from a close-up on Chad we crane up and out on Nickelback.
